Snell David worked on the design of a new Wine Centre and a separate dwelling for The Vineyard at Coggeshall. The intention was to replant the site with new vines and create a new regional centre for wine growers and tasters.

 

Both the house and the Wine Centre hoped to use a system build based on the  SIPS (structural Insulated panels) principle to achieve a Sustainable Code level 5. Solar panels, a ground source heat pump and water recycling would be adopted in addition to the triple glazing and highly insulated walls, floors and roof.
