Castle Court,  a penthouse apartment created in the 90’s was in need of modernising to make the most of the spectacular views surrounding the apartment. 

 

Snell David successfully gained planning approval for an upward extension at roof level to make use of existing external space.  The implemented proposals retained the building form unchanged, however the upper glazing was renewed.  The glazed cupola now utilises large curved sliding doors to create dramatic views to the London Skyline and River below. 

 

The project also included substantial internal remodelling to move the open kitchen/living space to the upper terrace level, whilst at the lower level a new master suite was created.
